Elisabeth M. Scalva, MD

Elisabeth M. Scalva, MD is a Native Coloradoan who was born and raised in the Denver area. She earned her B.A. in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2005. After two years at Massachusetts General Hospital performing research, she returned to Colorado and attended the University of Colorado, School of Medicine and earned her medical degree in 2013. Dr. Scalva recently completed her Residency at the Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina and has accepted a position with Women’s Health Care of Western Colorado, P.C., to practice obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Scalva is very excited to begin her medical practice in the Grand Valley where she plans to enjoy all the wonderful outdoor activities in the area including, hiking, camping and skiing. It is with pride in stewardship that the physicians of Women’s Health Care welcome Dr. Scalva to join in their continued legacy of providing comprehensive care to the women of the Grand Valley.
