Janet Grant, CNM, graduated in 1983 from University of Arizona’s program for Midwifery. Since that time, she has sustained her commitment to bring to the communities she serves, her experience and dedication to the care of women in Grand Valley as they begin and grow their families.

Over the years Janet has attended thousands of births, and has shared with pride, the beautiful birthing experience with her patients and their families in collaboration with St. Mary's Hospital. Janet also travels to Telluride, Colorado to provide services to the women of San Miguel County.

With her entire career devoted to midwifery, Janet has nurtured and provided security and confidence to her mothers-to-be, through her excellence in care, delivered in an environment of warmth and compassion. Her pride in helping women through their pregnancy and thereafter, is unsurpassed as Janet has held-fast to the promotion of education; while her personal investment in fostering strength in confidence throughout a young mother’s journey from conception to birth.

As a nurse midwife, Janet has followed and sustained the long-established tradition of excellent and compassionate care while working collaboratively with the physician specialists of Women’s Health Care. Together, they afford the women of the Grand Valley leading-edge, on-site diagnostic equipment to diagnose and track patient care parameters without ever leaving the building.
