Gardasil

We would like to make you aware of the recent changes that have been made regarding the use of the Gardasil vaccine. The Gardasil vaccination helps protect against four types of the human papillomavirus (HPV). Its initial approval was for girls age 9 to 26 for the prevention of genital warts and cervical cancer.

Gardasil has now been approved for use in boys age 9 to 26 for the prevention of genital warts and hopefully the spread of cervical cancer in women.
