Nicholas J Perez, MD

Dr. Perez was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas where he graduated with honors with a B.S. in Biology from Newman University. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2007. He then completed a four-year residency program in the specialty Obstetrics and Gynecology at Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. During his final year of training he was designated by staff as Chief Resident.

Following his training he moved to Grand Junction in 2011 and is currently practicing at Women's Health Care of Western Colorado. Dr. Perez has received extensive training in laparoscopic and Robotic surgical techniques. Dr. Perez has currently finished step 1 of 2 on his way to becoming board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This process typically takes 2-3 years after residency.

Dr. Perez is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. He is associated with Community Hospital and St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. Dr. Perez is currently accepting new patients and will accommodate same day appointments.
